Welcome to the frontline, soldier

In the year of 1942, a war burns the world. Nations conquer bordering territories. Airforces lay waste to capitals, keeping military and civilians alike under siege. Troops are sent to keep lines from invading enemies.

But steel and gunpowder aren’t the only weapons in the battlefield: military superpowers develop more-than-human supersoldiers; dark men behind said curtains strike deals with dark forces; scientists and researches push the boundaries of the possible, creating artifacts of mass destruction, and the men and women who are to hold the peace and protect their countries’ land and people must stay one step ahead of their time, before a shadow falls over all.

Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail.
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
We shall fight on the seas and oceans,
We shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our
Island whatever the cost may be,
We shall fight on the beaches,
We shall fight on the landing grounds,
We shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
We shall fight in the hills;
We shall never surrender.” – Winston Churchill
